We all dive sidemount nearly exclusively for a reason. Using two tanks confidently is a requirement for tec, but also learning the craft can make all diving safer and logistically easier in some locations.

Narq'd's favorite class to teach over an extended weekend teaches all the overhead protocols, line work, and situational awareness needed to stay safe while diving into the sunlit portions of the veins of the Earth. This is an awesome and tiring weekend for the experienced diver, capped with campfires and stories.

For those of us finding our NDL too short or wanting to explore safely below 130ft, we can bring you there. We use TDI's courses, Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, to teach the art of going deep. Personal skills, including comfort in sidemount doubles or backmount doubles, is a prerequisite, and offered by many of our instructors.
