Open Water scuba diver

This class is the first step in your SCUBA lifestyle, but also your introduction into the Narq'd family of divers, so "congratulations" if you've committed and "I hope you do" if you haven't yet. Over the last few decades, my instructors and I have certified hundreds of open water divers and minted thousands of certifications at all levels. The family is large, but we're on Facebook, so we're all close!

The tuition for the class includes the academic materials, rental equipment, pool fees, and your Instructor's time for as many sessions it takes to pass. (Most people pass the class the first weekend, but you will not be charged again if you need to come back for another crack at it.) Park entry fee for at least 2 days, your unlimited air for those 2 days, and your Open Water gear package are not included. Mask, boots, and fins are personal items that are difficult to rent anywhere, so we offer you all these at a stellar price so you don't need to amazon hunt for knockoffs.

Once you pay the tuition for the class, you will receive a code. This code will access your e-learning on the SDI website (link below). Do not buy the code off the SDI website. Make an account there, then enter the code and start learning. You can start and restart whenever you wish, and it will save your progress; you have one year to complete the course after entering the code. It should take around 8 hours and a couple pages of notes to complete. Instructors can view your progress, but let us know once you complete the e-learning to confirm in-water training. 

Before in-water training, you must complete a medical form in advance (if you have any 'yes's on the form below, contact us right away so we can confirm you have enough time to get clearance from a doctor before training.)

By the end of this, you will be certified to breath underwater. Return to the lake with us, come on a trip with us, or go out with a charter. Gain some experience and come back for continued education in one of our many classes offered.
